Tavo iPhone gloves
Using an iphone in the winter with gloves on is very hard, your fingers cannot get the screen to react with gloves on. Tavo offers a pair of gloves with a special material on the index finger and thumb. They also have some rubber patches in the palms for better grip. The gloves work great as driving gloves in the car.

Hey Dave,
These 'Tavo' gloves look strikingly similar to a pair made by 'The North Face'.

A quick review of the gloves I am talking about can be found there, they work quite well. Thanks for your post!
If you have a knitter in your life, this pattern makes easily worn fingerless mitts that can close when the weather is very cold. Good for fishing, technology use, smoking, etc... http://knittingjuju.wordpress.com/2009/01/18/iphone-mitts/
Pattern is free. Happy knitting...
